SEX AND THE CITY

Last weekend, Steve and his female saw Sex and the City, the movie based on the HBO show about four close girl friends and their adventures in New York City. I’m sure Steve would have rather seen something more manly and lowbrow, but he actually liked the movie and earned major metrosexual points with the female. Also, I’m sure he enjoyed seeing the moviegoing female humans who dressed up in little cocktail dresses to get into the spirit of the film.

Now, from what I remember about the show on HBO, these girls were always in some state of turmoil and confusion, supposedly with issues involving male humans. But I think the real problem is that none of these girls, in the movie anyway, had cats… in fact, one of them even had a DOG, horror of horrors! And as we all know, life without a cat can be barren and lonely, even in a bustling, exciting place like Manhattan.

Our humans never watched that show, so had no interest in the movie.

My mom never watched that because she did not have hbo. I think it is true that life withoug a cat is empty and so dull!

Hi cute Quasi! I do not trust people who do not like cats. I can understand if allergies are involved,
(though I would just take meds and deal with it) but to just not want a kitty? Crazy!
I keep meaning to give you my address for a book plate, but my brain is not functioning at full capacity lately. Memory loss... I think I'm getting old. :)
Hugs and Purrs,

Oh, my momma loved that show, too. But she said she feels guilty about liking so much decadence. I don't feel guilty about too much, so I can't really relate.

i think you've hit on something here, quasi! the reason these woman are so money oriented, show offy, and boring is they don't have a cat to learn important values from.
